Aella walked down the stairs and untied her horse from the tree before climbing it. She turned back to look at the Palace behind her and with a determined look on her face, she tightened the hold on the reins and raced away from the Palace.
She slowed down when she got to the streets and slowly, a carriage moved next to her. Lumen opened the window, and Aella looked down. The Witch nodded her head once to tell Aella that she had found out the location of where Bane was being kept.
They had planned for Aella to enter the Palace to find out the motive behind Bane's capture while Lumen would use her spell to enchant a guard who would tell her where Bane was being held captive.
Aella knew the place would be filled with guards and the security would be tight but she wasn't going to give up on Bane just like that. She would fight them all until she saves him. Besides, she had Lumen by her side and the Great Witch didn't just have a reputation for nothing.
