Aella opened her eyes and a delightful smile came onto her lips when she saw her husband's sleeping face in front of her. Bane was shirtless and his arm was curled around her waist as he rested his face on the pillow.
She could remember back at Cassa Dron when he always found it hard to fall asleep but now, he slept soundly when he was next to her. Reaching upwards, she gently used her fingers to comb his black hair which has grown over his eyes now.
Bane's hand gripped her waist and pulled her closer to him as he buried his face on her chest. "Please, do not stop whatever you were doing." he murmured and she laughed before she continued combing his hair.
"I love waking up next to you." she uttered, and Bane looked up at her before planting a kiss on her lips.
"Me too, dear wife." he laid on his back and drew her closer until she was resting her head on his shoulder. "I wish we could lay in bed all day without any worries."
