Aella and Bane got home after sunset as they promised. They got into the mansion and Aella was surprised to see her mother and Aurelia waiting for them by the door.
"Good evening, Baroness," Banelion greeted as Ralia took the basket from him.
"Good evening, how was your day?" the Baroness asked and Aella shook her head at how excited her mother seemed.
"We have not even stepped foot into the house, Mother. Can you calm down?" Aella laughed as she moved into the living room.
"Here you go," Bane handed the box of candy to Aurelia who jumped as she took it from him.
"Yayy! Mother, they got candy for me," she smiled like a little child.
"Did you have fun? How was the picnic? I thought you would stay a little longer," the Baroness fawned and Aella laughed.
"We had fun, Mother. Trust me," she said as Bane came to sit next to her.
"Ralia is making dinner. You guys came at the right time,"
"How is Father? I want to go see him,"
