Aella noticed Bane's expression hardening again and she regretted reminding him about the issue that made him upset. She wished she could take her words back but it was impossible.
Bane turned his aureate orbs to her which made her heart jolt slightly. His palm reached forward and held her cheek softly and she unconsciously leaned towards him.
"I am not upset with you. I am just angry that I was not there this happened," he uttered which warmed her heart.
"I am fine, Bane. You do not have to worry," she placed her hand on his as she smiled.
"I can not help it," Bane sighed under his breath and she felt like there was something he wasn't telling her. His face looked more worried for just a bruise.
"Is there something else going on? You seem tense," Aella frowned a bit as she spoke up.
As soon as she said that, the expression on Bane's face changed which made her realize that he was indeed trying to hide something from her.
