"We should go and visit him and ask us if he has more stock to lend," Aella suggested as she stared at the name of traders.
"But we do not have any funds for that? How will we manage that?" Aurelia chipped in.
"Mr Berin owes Father like a dozen livestock from the last harvest. Trust me, he would not be able to refuse us," Aella ascertained as she ticked his name off the list.
"I will accompany you as well," Bane said and she looked up with a grateful smile.
"Here are some snacks for you as you work," Ralia came in the sitting room to drop a tray of tea and cookies for them.
"Thank you, Ralia," Aella sighed with relief as she sipped from the teacup, holding the money ledger in her hand.
Her mother had put both Aella and Aurelia in charge of crosschecking their banks and balances so they would know where to start in getting new stocks for the estate.
