Aella jumped out of Bane's comforting arms as soon as she heard her name being hurled by someone.
Taking a few steps back, she saw her mother coming in between she and Bane with her frantic eyes and Aella's heart jolted, thinking her mother had heard of what she did to the Lord's son.
"Aella!" her mother screamed and grabbed her hand a little tighter than Aella would have loved.
"M-Mother," Aella tried to squirm away from her but it was impossible at this point.
"Aella, where were you? What did you go to do? Please tell me you did not kill anyone," her mother gripped her hands as she spoke hurriedly.
"Oh, I can not give any promises," Aella rolled her eyes until she saw how disheveled her mother looked.
She could see her hair was messy as though she had ran her hands way too many times into it and it made her wonder that her mother had been anxious ever since she left the house.
