Aella settled back on her seat after her mother's weird reaction when she asked to accompany to see the guests. She couldn't decipher why her mother would be so adamant in keeping her here.
Something was off and Aella could feel it. She had to find out who was at the door.
She was about to stand when her sister cut her off.
"Ha, it is not every time your good daughter act is going to work," Aurelia laughed and Aella turned to her with a look of exasperation.
"Can you not learn to shut up sometimes, dear little sister?" she rolled her eyes as the expression on Aurelia's face fell.
"I assume that is something hard in her part," Bane added which made Aella shake her head with pity.
"I might not know how to keep quiet but I am not a fool like you who thinks you can find a decent job with a skirt," Aurelia retaliated as she took a sip from her tea.
