Aella walked down the hall as her long red frock dragged on the floor with her steps. She looked around to see if anyone was behind her but the corridor was empty just as she wanted it.
She could hear the distant chatters of the maids down in the kitchen as they prepared breakfast but other than that, there was nobody else.
She had woken up much earlier today with a purpose in mind. No, she hadn't even been able to sleep properly because of what she had found out yesterday from her father.
Knowing that there was a possibility that there wasn't a curse, Aella couldn't be convinced by the theory that Bane had made when she told him everything.
She understood that the curse could have been a facilitator of the problems in their lives but there was a voice at the back of her head telling her to find out the truth.
So she decided to go and visit Lumen Caramel and confront her about the supposed damnation she claimed had befallen her family.
