Aella's blue eyes rested on the brown deep eyes which were glistening from tears.
She stood fixated on the ground, not knowing whether what she was seeing was real or a figment of her imagination just to feed her desires.
"A-Aella?" the woman's mouth opened to call her name and that was when Aella knew it was truly her mother.
"M-Mother," she let out slowly.
Unconsciously, her legs began to move forward as she climbed the stairs that led to the porch.
The Baroness opened her arms immediately and Aella embraced her mother without hesitation as the fear that she might vanish made her grip her tightly.
"Mother," Aella called as tears rushed out from her face.
"Oh, my child. It is you," Her mother stroked her hair gently as if she was scared she wasn't real.
"Mother," Aella breathed out with relief to see her mother looking fine.
