Aurdis kept channeling her own Magic energy into the orb. The pressure was immense, but she believed she could handle it, at least for now.
She knew that this predicament would only get much worse later, but she had to hold on for as long as possible. Maybe Saeldir would wake up and be able to create a new kind of diagram and formation to strengthen the Magic barrier.
But she couldn't rely on Saeldir forever. She had no idea what kind of injuries he had sustained in that world. He might need more time to recover from his condition.
"Can you hold on, Princess?" one of the Mages beside her asked, his tone filled with concern and worry.
"I'm... fine," Aurdis replied in a strained voice. "Just focus on making something that can reinforce this barrier. But quickly, please."
The mage nodded and immediately got to work. The other mages who overheard Aurdis's words also focused on their tasks.
