Meanwhile, in a Different World.
Erend stretched lazily, the soft glow of morning sunlight streaming through his window. The warmth on his skin and the soothing silence filled him with a rare sense of peace. He blinked slowly, letting the calm settle over him. It had been a long time since he'd had such a good sleep, even though he didn't really need it, its still good nontheless.

His friend was out there on the front lines of a different world, battling forces that threatened other people's realm. The weight of it nagged at the edges of his mind. How strong is it and how dangerous is it? What is his situation now?
"I can't just sit here," Erend murmured, pushing himself up from the bed.
