Mr Woods was once again tied to a chair. But this time around he was bleeding all over. Held captive right in front of him was his daughter Diana. She was unhurt but was terribly frightened and standing right next to her was Drake Lockman. A gag was tied to her mouth and tears streamed down her face as she muffled out words no one could hear.
Diana watched as Drake Lockman's men beat up her father mercilessly and tried begging them to stop. But they wouldn't stop.
Drake Lockman laughed as he watched Mr Woods pant for breath. "You betrayed me. I thought we we're in this together."
"I..l .. was being tortured. I had to tell them something." Mr Woods replied.
"They should have killed you. But thank God they didn't cause now l get to do it." Drake Lockman said with a sinister smile.
"Go ahead and do what ever you want with me but please leave my daughter out of all this." Mr Woods begged.
Drake Lockman smiled and walked over to Diana. He touched her head tenderly and tried to wipe her tears with his thumb but she wouldn't let him.
"Sure, I'll leave her out of all this after you do exactly as l tell you to." Drake Lockman said as he leaned closer to Diana. "Failure to do so and the explosive charge we put in her head will go out. And l don't know about you but l don't want brain debri all over me. I just got this suit." Drake Lockman said as he walked towards Mr Woods "So are we clear on the plan?"
"Yes." Mr Woods said whimpering. His poor girl, he couldn't even look at her. He had failed miserably to protect her. He had to get her out of this situation anyway possible.

Jeremy sat in his office going through some investments plans when a call came in on his phone. " Boss, there's something you gotta see." The man at the other end of the line told him. He was one of Jeremy's men." What?" Jeremy asked. He didn't want to waste any of his time.
"Boss this is something you have to see for yourself. It's pretty important." The man replied.
"Fine. Send me your location."
Lucas drove Jeremy to one of his facilities. When they arrived, Three of Jeremy's workers escorted them inside, where they met with one of Jeremy's top underground worker Derek Lane. A dangerous man who was in charge of handling Jeremy's dirty deeds. Like a few illegal transactions and controlling affairs underground. He had serious connections to black market. And was a really important asset to Jeremy.
"Boss welcome." Derek greeted.
"Derek. So why am l here?" Jeremy asked.
"Trust me Boss if it wasn't important l wouldn't have called you here." Derek replied.
"What is it then?"
"Well Boss, a package was delivered right here this morning. When we opened it up we we're shocked by it's contents."
"What was in it?" Jeremy asked with a slight frown.
"I think it's best you see it yourself. Right this way." Derek said as he lead Jeremy and Lucas to where the package was kept. "Over here."
Jeremy walked to the corner where a big brown box was. Without any hesitation he opened it. What he saw in the box made his stomach tighten. Inside the box was a pile of body parts. Cut down to pieces and neatly wrapped with some kind of foil.
"Boss, this was also found in the box." Derek said as he handed Jeremy a card which read "Guess who these body parts belong to. If you can't guess then watch the video." Derek handed over a tablet with a video on it.
Jeremy played the video.
Mr Woods was tied to a chair at gunpoint. He was bleeding profusely as he read out a letter held in front of him.
" Drake Lockman is a very dangerous man and after his done with me he'll come for you. There is no escaping him. No matter how hard you try. I ..mean look at me." Mr Woods read out the content of the letter as shown in the video. " Please now can you let my daughter go." Mr Woods begged.
"Sure, l have no use for her anymore or you actually. So I'm letting both of you go." Drake Lockman said with a smile. "Bye-bye."
The next moment a bullet went straight through Mr Woods head. Diana screams could be heard in the background. Then the camera was turned to her and Jeremy watched as her head exploded.
The video went blank for a while before Drake Lockman appeared on the screens once more.
"Wow. That was mind blowing." Drake Lockman said with a chuckle. "I wonder who's next." Then the video ended.
Jeremy turned towards Derek "Any news about his location."
"He covers his tracks well Boss. There are no leads."
"Keep looking. I want him found as soon as possible!" Jeremy said. His voice cold as ice. His grey eyes showing nothing but anger.
"We're trying Boss."
"Try harder." Jeremy said as he tossed the tablet to Derek and stormed out.
