Su Lihua lay curled up on her bed hugging a pillow. She was staring through the window and into the red and orange hues displayed by the sky as it set, but even its beauty wasn't enough to distract her from her thoughts. Her mind was going over what she was going to tell Fu Hao when he got back.
The time was currently 7:49. She had already had dinner, and was supposed to be asleep by now so she could be early to the meeting, but talking to Fu Hao was far more important to her,
She got up, stretched out her back and went downstairs, she was afraid that if she stayed there longer, she would soon be off to dreamland. Getting to the living room, she placed herself on a sand-coloured couch facing the flat-screen TV and stared through another window. She was just hoping he would hear her out, they still weren't on talking terms and she hadn't seen him since a day ago,
Her countenance drooped at her thoughts, she had originally harboured a little hope, but now, it felt much smaller. Just because he had eaten the breakfast and dinner she had made him, didn't mean he had forgiven her,

Just then, the door opened and Fu Hao walked in, then changed into a pair of grey house slippers,
"You're awake?", He wasn't expecting to see Lihua awake, at this time she would normally be cosied up in bed sleeping,
"Uhmm Yeah..., I actually just wanted to talk to you, please say you'll listen"
Taking a deep breath he sighed, "Fine", He walked over and sat diagonally to her,
"Okay, how should I start.....", She mumbled while fiddling her thumb and avoiding his gaze,
"I-I just...Urgh", She groaned and cursed inwardly, She had practised it over and over, but now, she found it hard to complete a sentence,
"You're really having so much trouble expressing yourself these days, are you sure you're..."
"I am not, I was just, warming up, that's all", She had blown a small fuse hearing him state the obvious, she just hated feeling nervous around him, it was a bit infuriating,
She sucked in a deep breath and continued, this time, calmer, "I just wanted to say that, I wanna start over with you, I mean, we should start over again with our relationship, It's been really rocky and I want to fix that. I may not be making much sense, but in summary, I wanna be, the, one, chasing, you"
Her voice became lower at the end and her cheeks flushed red, she was very thankful her head was facing down, she might have just died of embarrassment otherwise. Not getting a response after a while, she curiously looked back up,
His brow was raised and there was a smirk on his face, he leaned forward and rested his chin on his knuckle, "Has anyone ever told you, you look cute when you're flustered?"
She blushed furiously and looked back down at the floor. His blue eyes were piercing and looked like they could drill into her soul, she couldn't take it
He chuckled a little at her shyness, "Well then, I look forward to it, Mrs Fu, good night"
Getting up and going upstairs to his room, he left the still blushing Su Lihua in her own little world, 'He agreed! I can't believe that actually worked', 'I've got to tell Cora, She wrote a book like this one time, she could give me some tips'
She looked up and out the window, staring into the dark starless night, it was only the beginning. She knew it. And she would soon make everything right.
