10am the following day, Deb and arrived at Fosterland medical hospital and headed to one of the dormitory. They met Deb's dad with Claire in the room. Claire was lying on the patient bed, wearing a white patient cloth. Blood was being transferred to her body through her vein.
"She fainted and couldn't wake up"
"And you came to Fosterland? That's very risky Dad" Deb said, standing at akimbo.
"I just did something, I had no choice" he added.
"Is she recovering?" Amanda asked.
"She will"
"Have you had breakfast?" Deb asked him.
"Never thought about it"
"Come on, let's go have some food in the cafeteria" Deb said to him.
"We can't leave her alone"
"Don't worry, I will take care of her" Amanda offered.
"Come on Dad, you heard her" Deb said, leaving the room.
"I'll be okay" he smiled to Amanda and she smiled back.
Amanda sat on a chair beside the bed and saw a drawing book on the floor beside the leg of the bed. She picked it up and opened the first page. She saw a drawing of two superheroes fighting each other, made by Claire. Amanda smiled and continued to the second page. On the page, she saw a drawing of a monster that looked exactly like Egron. She proceeded to the third page and she saw the drawing of the masked killer holding a knife and a caption which says 'Run Amanda'. She closed the book and looked around immediately. Nobody was there except the sleeping Claire. She opened the same page again but the caption was gone. Only the killer's drawing remained.
"Run" a tiny voice echoed weakly in the room. Amanda stood up immediately and looked around again.
"Run" the voice echoed again. Amanda looked at Claire immediately and knew it was.
"Claire?"
"Run" she said again, staring at Amanda with her weak white eyes. A drop of blood fell on Amanda's nose, she touched the liquid that fell on her nose and looked at her hand. She pressed the blood with two fingers and looked up slowly. A murdered nurse was hanged on the ceiling of the room.
"Oh my God" Amanda covered her mouth with her hands to avoid a shout and looked at Claire. She was asleep again.
"Claire! Claire" Amanda tried to wake her up but she didn't wake.
Deb and her Dad were eating fries, sauce and meatball in the cafeteria. Deb stared at his father for some moments and picked a fries from the fries cup.
"Do you miss her?" she asked him.
"I don't know" he chuckled after a pause.
"I keeps remembering the day she called me up early one morning and said 'Henry, did you know that Deborah has gotten herself a girlfriend'" he said and they both chuckled.
"I miss her every day of my life" he said and looked at Deb.
"Me too" he chuckled at him and her phone vibrated.
"Amanda is calling, hope everything is okay" she said, took the call and placed the phone on her left ear.
"Are you hungry too?" Deb smiled.
"Deb somethin's…aaaarrgh" Amanda yelled through the phone.
"Amanda!?" Deb called but Amanda's phone was burnt.
"Shit, I gotta go meet Amanda, I think she's in trouble" Deb said, hurrying up from the chair.
"Why don't you let her get what she deserves" Henry said to Deb.
"At least, she needs to end like her father and sister" he added and Deb was shocked.
"What are you talking about Dad?" Deb asked Henry. Henry brought out a tablet from his pocket and showed a video to Deb. Deb saw her kids and the teacher, tied in different chairs and their mouth was taped. The Tom and Brian were crying while the teacher was struggling to wriggle free.
"Leave Amanda let her get what she deserves. I need your phone" Henry said to Deb. Deb was confused and stranded.
"Don't hurt my boys please"
"It's up to you, now sit down and eat" Henry added, staring at Deb.
'What are you doing Dad?"
'Saving my own life, I'm sorry sweetheart." he replied.
Just then, Jake walked up to them, wearing a blue jacket and a black big plain trouser. He was smiling as he was approaching them.
'Hi…" he smiled to Deb.
"What have you done kid?"
"You still call me kid? I'm not Fraser' he continued smiling.
"You gat what you want, can you let me go with the kid now?" Henry requested.
"No so fast old man, I'm not done with you yet"
"Leave my old man alone"
"What? He betrayed you because he didn't trust me. Didn't you think so?" Jake asked a grabbed a the cup of fries in front of her.
"What's your take from him?'
"What?"
"What did you take from him?" Deb asked and Jake looked at Henry and scoffed.
"Take? What the fuck did your old man have?"
"Where's my children Jake?" Deb asked him.
"They will be yours when Amanda is dead'
"Nothing happens to Amanda" Deb said, bringing her face closer to him.
'Then something happens to your handsome little men" Jake whispered to her face.
"Don't worry, Alice will do a great work there'
"Jake!'
"What? I came to keep you and your old man company. Am I boring you? Fine let's play a game" Jake scoffed.
"You think you can use my father on me?"
"I did"
"So what about the kid?"
"You mean Claire? She's just acting" Jake scoffed.
"Fuck you" Deb hissed.
"How's Jane?"
"Leave Amanda alone and I'll tell you about Jane" Deb said.
"Fuck Jane" Jake grinned.
"Are you holding me hostage?' Deb asked him.
'I guess so' he replied, chewing some fries.
"Can I go?" Henry asked Jake.
"No wait, a testimony will drop soon"
"I don't wanna wait for the testimony, I wanna go home. I gave you what you wanted. I sacrificed for you'
"Because you choose the little stranger over your own daughter but I'm not surprised" Jake and Deb looked at her father.
"Jake you need to stop all these stupid…"
'Sssshh" Jake shushed Deb.
"I'm hearing something.." he said slowly, listening towards the dorm.
"What…" a loud gunshot in the dorm interrupted Deb.
"Alice doesn't have a gun, who gave the shoot?" Jake was shocked.
