Chapter 22 - The Chocolate Girl

Deb drove into an old penthouse along the road and parked the truck in front of the house. They came down from the car, all looking tired and exhausted.

"I feel like throwing up" Amanda frowned and looked at Deb. The sun was very hot and they couldn't keep their faces plain.

'Is this a penthouse?" David asked, placing his hand parallel on his forehead while taking a gaze on the house, to avoid the sun reflecting on his eyes.

"Uhmmmm" Deb cleared her throat.

"Looks more like a light house, you know the light house on the rock, besides the beach in California, used in Luca?" David added.

"Is that California?"

"I don't know, I calls every beautiful place California"

"What about the light house in Rapunzel?" Deb asked David.

"Was that a light house?"

"Was?'

"I thought…Wait you watch cartoons?"

"Used to"

"I'm going out of this sun, people" Amanda sighed heavily, heading to the house.

"Do you even know where you are going Amanda?"

"Into a penthouse" she replied.

They got into the lonely house which it's door was open and began to all around the room, watching the pictures pinned on the wall of the room. Amanda saw a little white cat standing beside a door that led to the other room. Suddenly, an average old man with grey hair and beards came out the room and carried up the cat on his arm and looked the invaders.

"You shoulda knocked before barging into my house" the old man said, looking at Deb.

'You should always lock your doors if you don't want people to barge in" she said, staring into his eyes.

"Who are these kids with you?"

"Kids?" Amanda scoffed.

"Fosterland kids, they are in trouble"

"That's nice to hear, why did you bring them here"

"They need your…"

"They needs nothing from me, nobody needs anything from me, even you Deborah" he said angrily and dropped the cat on the couch besides him. Amanda and David looked at each other.

"They can't do anything, they are stuck in it"

"What are you talking about?"

"You know what I'm talking about Dad" Deb conti nued staring at him.

"Dad?" Amanda and David were surprised.

"Ghost?"

"Worst than that, the ghost is gone but he possessed their friend and now he is going house to house, killing people with a kitchen knife' Deb said loudly.

"The ghost masked killer in Fosterland?"

"Yeah Dad, he's one of their friend"

"How are my grandchildren?"

"Tom and Brian are good, they are in school right now and I'mma go pick em' up soon"

"So what do you want me to do"

"I want them to stay here for some time, couple of days"

"Couple of…do you trust them?" he asked her and she looked at them.

"Yes I trust them…th-they are couple too" Deb said and a little girl came out from same room Deb's dad came out from, and stood besides the door. Amanda and David stood up immediately.

"Who's the little girl?" Deb asked, looking at the girl. Her father turned and looked at the door.

"Oh that's…"

"She's still alive?" David, scared, asked. Deb and her father looked at him.

"Sh-she's the chocolate who killed my sister and her friends" Amanda said loudly, pointing at the girl.

'Aye aye" Deb groaned and faced her father.
