Standing in a void of infinite darkness and surrounded by dim lights fashioned to resemble huge human faces several feet above her, she breathed heavily, knowing that she was in trouble now.
"Hiruda, goddess of fate," came one voice from right behind her. "You have broken your oath and our commandments and have been found guilty by this governing body." "What do you have to say in your defense?"
