Chapter 42 - baby names

Chapter 41 (Andrew's POV)

I was watching Vicky how she tore into the wrapping paper.

Judging from the note that was clipped to the present I was suspecting that the present came from her ex.

When she opened the lid and saw the content of the box she suddenly froze.

All the color got drained from her face and I knew something was wrong.

I moved to get to her but the next second she collapsed right into my arms.

I remembered I shouldn't panic and tried to put her gently on the sofa.

Oh God fuck staying calm! That's my woman!

"Vicky. Love please wake up. I promise we can deal with everything together."

I continued to whisper comforting words to her, while Jessy brought me a wet cloth to put on Vicky's forehead and Knox was on the phone with the police station.

Luckily Vicky regained her consciousness a few moments later as well.

"What's going on? What happened?"

I smiled gently at her and didn't let go of her hand.

"You fainted for a few seconds there. Are you feeling ok? Any headache, dizziness, anything?"

She laughed gently at my over protective side.

I can't help it. I am not controlling or anything like that but I am protective of the people I love and care about.

"Yes Andrew. I am ok. I think Beanie is hungry again though. Jessy could you just bring me some snacks from the kitchen please?"

As soon as the words were out of her mouth Jessy hurried to get some snacks.

When I looked back at Vicky she had a serious expression on her face.

"Andrew. He has my parents. He sent me my mothers ring and my fathers bracelet. They are both things that they never take off. I don't know what he is capable of. But I don't want him to harm them. Please we need to find them."

I knew she was right. But there was no way in hell I would allow her to risk her own safety or our baby's life.

"Don't worry. Knox is speaking to the local police department and they are on their way. We will give our statements, tell them our suspicions and then you and I are going to bed."

She was about to object but I wasn't having it.

I shut her up with a kiss, and after a few seconds I moved away but stayed close.

"No objections Vicky. If not for me or for yourself, then do it for our baby please. You shouldn't stress yourself."

She closed her eyes but nodded her head.

"Beanie."

I looked at her confused.

"That's her name at the moment. I didn't want to choose her name on my own, but I couldn't call her baby. So because she is so small and like a little bean, I call her Beanie."

I smiled softly. I couldn't believe I was so lucky to find such a wonderful woman.

Shawna not once included me in anything regarding Amy before she was born and even after she had this idea inside her head that she was a perfect mother and couldn't do anything wrong

Which we all knew was a big lie from the start.

"But how can you be so sure our little Beanie is a she? What if we are having a little boy?"

She was silent for a moment and it looked like she was deep in thoughts.

"Naah. I had no problems with my pregnancy so far so no way could it be a boy. Think about it. If it was a boy, he would have mostly your side of DNK and I don't think this baby is stubborn enough to make that point valid."

I laughed at her theory but to some point I did agree. I really was stubborn.

"Ok. But can we still choose a name for both? Boy and girl?"

"Of course we can. Beanie is as much yours as she is mine. I am not forbidding you anything Andrew!"

Her words touched my heart.

"Ok let's start easy. But I have one condition though. Name needs to start with a V."

She gave me the brightest smile in the whole world and it was even better because I knew I was the reason behind that amazing smile.

"Deal. Since my full name is Viktoria, what about Valerie or Vanesa?"

I thought about it for a second, but I had no arguments. Both names  sounded good to me.

"Ok. Then if it's a boy m, we could name him Victor or Val. Maybe. Actually I can't come up with any other names that start with V at the moment."

She laughed again.

"Ok so let's go with Valerie and Val. What do you think?"

I agreed right away. They were great names and it just felt right.

And also if I had it my way we would be choosing names at least 3 more times.
