Chapter 124 - 124 - A dance of life and death, Anger consequences

Calharra was the goddess of life and death. Ruler of Vitmort and third child of the All-father. She knew what she deserved and always went for her goals. Disrespect was something the goddess detested. She would take her respect as she deserved and so help her by Erizos name a creature looking like a mix between Amor's anime flicks, a weirdly made angel or demon probably and a tree's root section would not sly her in her zone.

She was Calharra. And when she said you remain dead then you remain dead. This thing was disobeying her one law right in front of her siblings. This was a chance to show as much authority as Velces and she would not let it cough on her chance.

So it was with great anger that the Ruler of Vitmort, goddess of the living and dead pounced on the still smiling yet shaking Eldritch creature.

'Life Hold'

LIFE HOLD -

Create a bind of thick halo with life energy. Effect equal to life energy x 10 divinity.

Life energy - As intended.

The effect was instantaneous as the thing felt itself seized within a grasp of power that it could not understand. Before it could react though a sword flashed then a sickle and two of its arms fell.

"Now you will learn to stay dead " the divine girl's words were cold. But since it didn't understand all it knew was that the words sent chills down its spine.

Yet a growing warmth in it pushed the chills away. Like a crazed beast, it burst free of the hold. Yet surprisingly it didn't attack as it floated back while its body trembled.

Calharra believing it still weakened from her beheading shot forward aiming to finish the job when its eyes shone harshly. An arm burst out its back joining the two it already had. Extending even longer than the other arms it curved out front from its right side catching the goddess by surprise.

Grasping her by the neck it rammed her face with its head before its left fist shot forward aiming to puncture her chest as she struggled.

PTUI.

Kulku embedded itself into its neck leaking blood out as the dark sludge rolled disgustingly. Calharra was quick to capitalize as the thing screeched. Left hand raised she diced its new arm off and shot back.

"Degradation". A bolt of black lightning flew from Calharra's outstretched fingers and blasted into the shrieking Eldritch further injuring it as the armor of coagulated blood dried up to nothing before falling as ash.

Before Eldritch could get its bearings Hanare was at its side gripping Kulku. The four-pronged spear was ripped right out of its neck, spun and its flat side slammed into its face sending it flying back yet again.

A roar sounded as Pyrkam from above opened all seven maws with a fury and the Eldritch could only watch since Life hold had been activated once more by Calharra.

From each maw came a different element. The center head spilling black chaotic flames, the next ice, the next acid, earth, light, lightning, and, wind.

All converged dealing damage that left the eldritch looking messed up. By the time Noctis and Gerasmine reappeared by its sides to finish it up the fight was over.

But the Eldritch still breathed. Noctis hovering to the side his Odachi dripping with sludge after separating the thing's wings looked to their mother, a silent question on what to do with the now dying creature.

It was this moment of distraction when mother and son looked at each other that it used to strike its trump card.

Its helmet split down the front from skull to jaw separating like the center of a book. Worse still its face and skull parted revealing a maw so wide even Pyrkam would be devoured.

The seven-headed space dragon god reeled in a panic as he was sucked down and into the maw of the eldritch as a spiraling black hole opened within its mouth.

Noctis and Gerasmine quickly tried to attack only to realize that both were not left out of the sucking. Around them, even Calharra was drawn forward as was a gliding Hangiram and Hanare.

All were tugged to its maw.

Yet one thing was faster.

Quintapazzuri hovering in the distance made one slight shift moving her body to the left just as two streaking comets shot past. One after the other.

Crackling with intense lightning the first struck the jaw of the Eldritch from the underside shocking it not just in one way. The volts of unbearable Lightning surged through its flesh and brain cooking it instantly.

Yet it was seemingly not enough as a new flash appeared and struck it right on its still shutting maw.

BOOM!!!.

The explosion released a huge sound that carried the eldritch streaking far off into the distance headed straight down from where they had come.

"Well. It seems I didn't calculate that". Quintapazzuri scratched her beak in embarrassment as all the nine disheveled gods watched the Eldritch plummet in a blink straight for Duztros.

At least they hoped it was Duztros.

"How exactly did you aim well enough to send it flying right that way". Quintapazzuri berated Amor. The goddess who was still slowly floating up to them caught two hammers in her grasp. One sparking like a high voltage head and the other vibrating with a low din.

Her eyes moved to her sister before she shrugged with a tired shoulder.

"Raij and Jokul are faster than me" she deadpanned raising both hammers.

"If that thing disrupts the creation. Dad's gonna kill us". Eth'ela commented a scared look on her face

"Nothing we can do little one." Quintapazzuri consoled. Amor simply stared as did the rest watching with heavy hearts as the Eldritch a tiny flair of dark green arrived and then.

"Ah. Shit" The collective groans of despair hit everyone as a resounding explosion of golden, blue, green, and dark green light was bright enough to be seen.

"We're so dead" Strangely it was Calharra that spoke this time earning her a strange look from all. But the goddess spared none her attention for just like Gerasmine who was frozen with shock, she knew just how much All-father had awaited this day.

"And we ruined it" She whispered.

If they heard her, non made any attempts to speak as all watched the lights die down.

Then it happened. The ear-splitting, universe-bending roar of primal rage.

"WHO THE FUCK DID THIS?"
