Chapter 3 - 3 - Possibilities

First, I focused on my entire body, willing it to get taller. I watched as the body stretched out until it was taller than before. Looking at the measurement, I stopped once it was at 7 ft.

'It's a God's body, right? Let's make it look majestic and other big words for powerful figures,' I thought. My mind went to the torso first, and I smirked as I thought of how muscled I could be.

I toned the abdominals because that was every guy's dream—the perfect body without the stress of lifting all those irons. Still, I made them all moderate.

I disliked the hulking form of most bodybuilders—not that I called it bad; just everyone had their tastes.

Mine was more of the leaner type of body build. The torso was ripped, and then I focused on the arms, slightly buffing them up, giving them a powerful feel. I added to the shoulders a bit before working on the chest.

Finally, I shot down to the legs and repeated the same things there. Going back to the head, I adjusted my former face with the cheeks being skinnier but firm and the nose pointed. I touched on the hair and smiled as it grew out as I willed.

It dropped until it came to my shoulders, and I attempted a nod only to remember I was bodiless again.

Looking at the body, I wondered if I could fix the eye color, imagining that golden was better than green.

The green turned a blazing gold, startling me.

'Wait, I can fix the colors too?'

[????? ARE GOD. ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE WITH DIVINE ENERGY.]

'Anything?'

[ANYTHING! THE POSSIBILITIES ARE ENDLESS.]

With that, I went a bit mad. My will and imagination went into overdrive as I experimented. Different limbs appeared and disappeared. I tested out different states and forms and different types of bodies.

[...]

The voice watched, stunned, as I went from form to form until finally, I stopped. I realized it had the same stunned emotion simply because it was similar to what I was feeling.

Either way, I finally stopped at what I hoped was a perfect form.

"Done," I thought with a smirk, looking over my work.

[WOULD YOU LIKE TO SET THIS AS TRUE FORM OR AVATAR?]

"I can make a body for whichever of the two that is left, right?" I asked.

[YES. MIND YOU, THOUGH, AVATARS ARE MADE TO BLEND IN SO THAT GODS MAY WALK AMONGST MEN. THIS FORM YOU MADE... TOTALLY NOT SUITABLE AS AN AVATAR.]

I agreed.

The form was, well... over the top. It stood at seven feet tall, the body was whitish-gold. Beneath its skin, streams of blue liquid could be seen running wildly. Not that its skin was translucent, but more like the blue was glowing bright.

The form had a normal pair of hands, but that was beside the point as I noted the difference at the palms. Both palms, from the wrists to fingertips, glowed a fierce red that contradicted the blue veins and whitish-gold skin.

White, gold, and black strands, all in equal proportions of long hair, fell from the head down to the waist. The legs, strongly muscled but not too much, extended down to its feet.

On its face, though, were five pairs of eyes. The lower two were blue, the ones above a blazing gold. In the fifth eye, though, I had put a lot of my will into making it.

Closed, it barely existed, but opened, it shone with a white glow without any pupil within. I smiled at the thought of what I wanted from the fifth eye situated right at the middle of the forehead.

The five eyes made the head look a bit longer than it should have been. Finally, there was the human-looking nose and mouth that I couldn't resist adding fangs to. The four fangs were only barely noticeable.

I realized that the parts came with the information and uses of what they were meant for, and more that surpassed my imagination.

'Yep. Definitely not blending in with humans,' I thought.

So, I set it as the true form.

Then I focused on the avatar. Creating it was simpler. It needed to blend in, so I just made it simple—6 ft, slightly ripped, blue eyes to tie in with the true form since the voice had advised as such.

Hair that dropped at my shoulder and was black in color. My avatar looked simpler. Then I decided that it should be that simple. What if I wanted to run or couldn't escape or something?

Still, I knew it was all an excuse to give my avatar something the true form didn't have or need. I had wanted to make one for it, but the voice had stated how unnecessary a flight limb was to a God that could actually fly.

So here I was, fixing wings that made me smirk onto my avatar. I was so into this, I barely realized I had thought of all this as a prank.

Either way, the wings stretched out, spanning a wide berth. They could easily wrap the 6 ft body up if necessary. The outer part was made of hard, indestructible material, and the inner part, while softer, was no less dangerous.

Done, I pushed the form into the avatar slot and then sighed.

'What now?'

[NOW. YOU USE THE DIVINE ENERGY TO CREATE THEM. WILL THEM TO EXISTENCE. MIND YOU, WHILST THE AVATAR CAN BE CHANGED, THE TRUE FORM IS PERMANENT. IT GROWS WITH THE GOD'S DIVINITY AND DIES WITH IT AS WELL. ANY CHANGES OR MODIFICATIONS TO BE MADE CAN BE DONE ONLY NOW. FURTHER ENHANCEMENTS WOULD ONLY BE POSSIBLE WHEN BREAKING THROUGH RANKS OR TIERS OR WHATEVER DENOMINATIONS WE SET IN FUTURE.]

'Okay.' At this point, I was just eager to see how this would go. After all, I was done creating, and now I was back to the prank thought.

To me, this was where the "it's a prank" screams would happen—or not. So, I was just on edge.

I slowly realized, though, that I actually wished it wouldn't be a prank. I mean, who didn't want to be a God?

Right?.
