The Dome Moira and her family live in is of course much larger than others, but each highborn dome will be similar to this one. Leaving the Throne room, there are two pairs of stairs on either side of the doors, one trailing up the wall, leading to the bed chambers, and the other going down to the kitchens. Being closely related to the King of Domes has its infinite amount of perks. For instance, as Moira is his only current heir, she has the largest room to accommodate her status, being a royal also means meeting certain requirements: being a pureblooded human, and if youre a femle, being betrothed to a neighboring clan or kingdom for peace and prosperity, and the equaling-out of the Human race. And for Moira, that exactly what happened.
Moira stands centered in her chambers, around this time last year she was notified by her handmaidens that she would soon be moving to her betrotheds' homeland to live amongst him and his people. Moira was sickened by the thought of marrying a men she has never met, let alone live with him.

She raced to plead with her uncle, the King, the only man that she thought could change her fate, but was met with a slap of reality. Opening his chamber door and kneeling by his side, it was like he already knew what the matter was.
"You are my niece!" he barked out at her disapprovingly, spit flying at her face.
"You are a Fasi and all highborn women in this family are either married to a King or birthing princes, and you cannot, and will not break the chain. Unless you think I am going to start some Hundred Year War for you, you are sorely mistaken, my dear one."
Moiras tears wetted his bedrobe sleeve, her voice cracked.
"Uncle please-"
"Absolutely no-"
"I cant marry a man who I've never-"
He cleared his throat loudly and sat up, staring ahead, "I never knew my wife."
"But you must be able to do something Uncle! Anything! I'll marry him but do I have to live with him?" Moira beamed at him with hopeful eyes, but he did not budge. They sat in silence for a long while, every now and then she sniffed to clear her nose, but the sound seemed to make her uncle twitch.
With a long desicive exhale he answered, "I will see what i can do."

Moira looks at herself in the mirror across the room, she can see her face losing color with each passing moment. It was hard to hide her paleness with her red hair billowing past her shoulders. Moira hugged herself, caressing her arms as she imagined her future-husband would. She could not even imagine how he would touch her, or what he looked like, or what his name was. Moira shivered at the thought of their first dance, throwing her arms back at her sides.
Turning to close her chamber door, her handmaidens waft in like a river a comfort. There were usual the normal three, Jalla, Tsina and Greyse, but occasionally a trainee would tag along. Jalla was the tallest one, a brunette with a strong jawline and high cheekbones with a very athletic body. She reminded Moira of the ancient woman warriors that would sacrifice their souls to the Fire Serpants in the story books her nanny would read her. Tsina and Greyse were petite half-breeds, with matching yellow hair, their eyes the same hue of oats and wheat. Though they are not related, they act like conjoined twins, unseparable, sometimes even completing each other's sentences.
Thankfully they were alone and Moira could stress about her departure date to them, but instead of doing their duties they stopped at the door.
"Hey Jalla? Greyse, Tsina? What is the matter?"
Tsina went to speak first but Jalla stopped her, "We've been informed-"
There was long pause and Moira was confused. "Informed of what? Jalla, youre scaring me. You've come all this way, speak it aloud."
Greyse grunted loudly at the others, bursting like she was being strangled of air, drawing closer and grabbing Moira's hand, "The Representative of Odiovitae, they are coming here."
Moira, though smart in her own ways, did not fully understand why they were so nervous about the Representative. "But, Im lost then. Isn't that what is supposed to happen?"
