Harold Dave Collin's, the most loved prince, of all, was known to be the wisest and the most generous prince. He was handsome, kind, brave, good in all aspects, as well, perfect. When he ascended the throne, crowned as the king, the kingdom hailed.
He, while lurking around the borders of the kingdom, saw an admirable beauty, and fell in love with her, at the first sight. To his surprise, she, Susan Ackerman, was the only princess of Myrie, the neighbouring kingdom. Soon enough, they were married out of love and had a son, Alexander Dave Collins. The day of his birth was the biggest celebration ever.
But then, everything has just begun on Alexander's seventh birthday, when he was given the heirloom locket, which gave him the powers to foresee people's future.
"Alex," called Mr.Collins, looking straight into his eye as the little boy look frightened upon seeing those strange, vivid visuals which made a deep imprint within the boy's heart.
"Look at me dear.." Mr.Collins cupped his face gently.
"What you just saw, isn't a dream dear. It's a premonition, a warning." he said. "Anyone you touch, you can see their future." He further explained.
"B-But dad, I-I just saw this whole castle exploding. It- does this mean, we-" the little boy stammered.
"Shh.. it will be okay, we are gonna get out of the castle, okay?" Mr.Collins gently rubbed over the boy's head. As that happened, they heard a huge explosion.Everything was covered in flames.
"Dad" the boy cried Ashe found himself all alone in the middle of the flames.
"Alex..!" He could hear from a distance.
His fear grew with each second passing. "Mom!" He cried with all his might. The dense smoke covered all over made it difficult to breathe and the boy was coughing continuously.
"Dad… Mom…" he muffled softly as he fell unconscious on the ground.
"Shit!" A man woke up from his sleep, finding himself isolated on a large bed.
"Huff… it's a dream " he sighed in relief sliding his hands through his hair and got off his bed, straighten walking into the bathroom and stood in-front of the mirror looking at himself completely covered in sweat.
"Not even a night without that nightmare…" he spoke to himself and turned on the tap and splashed the water on his face.
"Do I ever get a break from this?" He wondered looking at himself.
