Chapter 48 - With The Flick Of A Finger

Amongst the venerers, there are the ones that accomplished their missions with incredible speed, those whose feat could be quickly summarised.

One venerer that was of a much smaller size when compared to the norm, almost fitting in the palm of a an adult human, its limbs were incredibly thin and couldn't be used to attack at all, it simply floated, its body dark and appearing as dried up, despite the frail appearance, the moment between its apparition and the completion of its mission, were almost the exact same, as soon as it appeared, it sent out a wave of mind power that covered the whole world in a moment, crushing the bodies, mind and souls of anything it went into contact with, the sudden death of so many beings, caused the utter collapse of the world and it was done.

With a similar speed but much different approach, a venerer that appeared as red in color, with claws of the same color, immediately acted as well but it possessed no powers of mind like the previous one, its feat could be considered even more impressive as it simply, killed all and destroyed in seconds by using its absolutely terrific speed, it was so fast that it defied physics and that the environment could barely catch up with it, the wind only moved in accordance to its passage minutes after, the brains of the ones seeing buildings seemingly disappearing couldn't register the action and took a large amount of time to process what was happening, even their own deaths due to the venerer's precise way of killing, with sheer speed, the world will disappearing without ever learning of the venerer's existence.

In a very straightforward way, a venerer appeared out of a much larger crack than usual, appearing in the space of the world, right above the main planet, it simply extended its enormous hand and squashed the whole planet like a human would step on an ant, such intense damage was enough for its job to be done.

In another world, a most peculiar venerer appeared, dressed in an himation made of its own skin, the venerer appeared with one large eye in the center of its face and one pair of wings on its back, white feathered wings, coupled with its divine aura, it looked like an angel descending upon earth, this venerer didn't bother with the world itself and instead went at the root of the problem, striking the world will directly, bringing upon the denizen of this world calamities as the world went on to restart after the world will sudden destruction.

In yet another world, the venerer's job was done in an impressive amount of time and that without ever moving from its point of apparition, here, the people who went to sleep would be killed almost immediately, so in just a few days, most beings had died already, having fallen prey to venerer in their dreams and nightmares, the venerer's total hijack of dreams caused the gods and goddesses of this world associated with it to fall from grace, it was another world forced into a fresh start by a venerer.

One would perhaps think that the world wills would perhaps, maybe, speak up about the destruction caused by these venerers, speaking their mind to the father about how it was unnecessary to send these monsters when the father could just erase the divergence with a simple thought but none did, after all, the only world wills that had a problem with venerers existing were the divergent ones, the others paid it no mind as they didn't care if they died or not, they followed the whims of fate and destiny without care.

As worlds were invaded by venerers and utterly destroyed or left in terrible states, those in the know about the full situation could be brought to wonder about the original venerer, the true venerer from which all the other came from, it had remained in the Sympan Skoupidia for an extended amount of time, an eternity for the short lived and a breath for the eldritch gods, it had endured the conditions of this place, endlessly adaptating and growing from it, receiving all the informations from the other venerers, it grew endlessly stronger and when the Sympan Skoupidia could no longer even scratch it even when not doing anything, it simply left it, exiting an area of the cosmos that was said to be a dead end none could come back from.

It moved in the cosmos, standing equal to the beings that roamed it, encountered other holders of mov on the way, unlike the venerers that were spawned in worlds, it had no obligations whatsoever, as such, it simply did whatever it wished but still seeking for something that could force it to adapt further, a hard task when it had successfully conquered the harsh environment of the Sympan Skoupidia.

A simple movement of its hand could destroy multiple worlds but it found no interest in doing so, having nothing to help it grow further, it decided to observe the venerers, their experience was always shared with it and it could feel each version of them inside of itself but observing them with its own senses felt a bit different, it could watch them acting as the creatures they were, struggling, fighting, feeding, breeding, most basic natural actions that the original could hardly accomplish, without a goal, none of these made sense, the first goal of all venerers and the original was to evolve and survive but nothing threatened it and its options to evolve had dried up, it could only count on the lesser venerers to run into a situation it had yet to encounter itself.

By observing them more attentively, it was able to catch on their diverse techniques and personalities, some had clear advantages and some had obvious shortcomings, the importance some put into reproducing was an evident flaw as it distracted them but these weakness had brought one venerer to great strength.

Watching over the first lesser venerer and the one that had been active the longest and still currently was, its focus on breeding had led it to be locked away in the abyss and there it had grown to tremendous strength, it could rival the original but its power was real and it might be the strongest lesser venerer out of all of them.

It had brought very good information to the original.

Looking away from the abyssal venerer, it turned and its eyes landed on the very present venerers that could grow spikes out of their bodies, in comparison, they rarely brought any good information, only tips on how to maximise the use of hips when thrusting and things such as that.

The amount of difference two venerers could have was truly enormous and yet, venerers stayed recognisable as venerers, whatever may their appearance be like.
