Chapter 4 - chapter4: great ape limitation , the center , answers , Fusion!!

Year: ????, Month: ??, Day: ??, Time: ????, Setting: An endless yet comfortable white plane.

The loud snoring of a pitch black creature resembling an ape/monkey could be heard in the vast and peaceful empty plane.

"ZZZ-Zzzz-ZZzzz-ze ze ze- zZZzzzzZZ-ze ze ze- zZZzzzzZZ -ze ze ze "

The creature snored as a bubble increased and decreased in size.

"ZZZ-Zzzz-ZZzzz-ze ze ze- zZZzzzzZZ -ze ze ze " 'pop'

Noah opened his eyes, looked around, and yawned.

"Damn, I guess I fell asleep," Noah scratched the back of his neck.

Noah rolled onto his side.

"How long have I been training? Maybe a day? A year? Thousands of years?"

"To be honest, I'm not even sure if this place has a concept of time, but one thing I'm certain of is that the more time I spend here alone, the worse my mentality becomes. I even started to sleep because of that."

"While I don't require any of the necessities that a normal human requires thanks to the nourishment I'm constantly getting from being in this white void, it only applies to my body. So I had to combat the mental stress by sleeping, but even that started losing its effectiveness."

Noah stood up and sat cross-legged, shivering. "I need to work harder on spreading my ki/life force sense or I'll end up being a raging ape," Noah said, terrified of becoming a mindless Great Ape.

"I have reached my limit in Ki control and Ki Manipulation/attacks. As for Ki sensing and why it is taking far more time to train, it is due to the fact that I am in the Great Ape form. The Great Ape form comes with a strong body, but the mind is hell-bent on violence and destruction. It will help the user enhance their bodies via Ki control and boost their Ki Manipulation for deadly attacks. However, when it comes to Ki sensing, it's sucks ass."

"Now that I think about it, there was that one time when I tried to condense my Ki and achieve my humanoid Saiyan form. I had to align the heart, the spirit, and the mind, and when all of them got in perfect sync, I would start guiding the Ki through my entire body and proceed to spike my Ki and condense it at the same time while achieving a humanoid form in the process."

"But when I tried to start the process, my instincts flared up and tried to take over and stop me from proceeding. It got so bad that I almost passed out from the mental drain. Since then, I haven't tried to go through the transformation again."

"Well, now that I've awoken, it's time to start spreading my Ki and figure out how to get out of here," Noah said, crossing his arms and closing his eyes.

After what seemed like an eternity, Noah jerked open his eyes and looked in a specific direction.

"Is that a signal? Wait, there are more than one? One, two, three, four... yes, there are four signals in approximately the same area!" Noah exclaimed, his face beaming with excitement.

"Fuck yeah, there's a chance I can get out of here, or maybe I can find people to talk to," Noah said as he floated.

"SOCIAL ACTIVATESSSSSSSSSSS"

Noah flew for what seemed like hours until he saw it. When Noah first laid eyes on it, his jaw dropped.

Four massive ebony-colored pillars, the likes of which he had never dreamed of seeing even in his previous world. They were so massive that one couldn't even see the end of the pillars. They stretched so far into the sky that it appeared as if four spears were stabbing it. The pillars formed a perfect square, and in the center of the square was an altar. On the altar was a large, ancient-looking tablet made of marble that radiated divine energy on a level he never imagined to be possible.

"Well, at least there's a color other than white now," Noah said jokingly as he landed.

"What do we have here? The four pillars must have created the signals that led me here, and that tablet, Holy Shenron! It's radiating an unending amount of divine energy. The pressure alone is giving me chills."

........

"Well, lets go and grab it!!"

Noah walked slowly toward the altar, the pressure increasing with each step. It felt like a mountain was descending on him, but he endured unyieldingly. He bit down and kept walking until he reached the altar, and then the pressure vanished completely, as if it had never existed before. Noah stood in front of the tablet, out of breath, and his entire body screamed in pain.

"Huff... Huff... that pressure... was... insane... I almost... didn't make it," Noah exclaimed, heavily breathing.

Noah sat for a few minutes until his breathing returned to normal.

"Okay, it's time to do some reading" Noah said, reaching for the tablet.

At the same time that Noah grabbed the tablet, two bolts of light shot forward into him, one into his head and the other toward his heart.

Noah froze for a split second before starting to float, his eyes wide open, and two white beams of light shot out of him. One went toward the sky, and the other toward the four pillars, lighting them up.

This went on for an hour before Noah snapped out of it, his eyes returning to normal, but he was still linked to the pillars.

"I see..."

"I get it now," he said, "this plane... How did I end up here and what should I do next."

Noah sat down and start talking to himselfs.

"This plane is a purgatory between realities, to be more specific, it is a sub-reality that is linked to a higher and far more complex reality. It is the home to millions and millions of higher souls that are sent or drifted here."

"But there is something else: the souls who are sent here are all of the same type." Noah took a deep breath.

"They all died by supernatural means, aka they were sent here by the same monster who is one of the reasons I ended up dead."

"But the things is, when I blew up the monster, a change happened in the plane."

"Instead of a higher spirit, the monster's spirit was sent here instead."

"Into a plane the monster wasn't supposed to be in the first place. For it was made by the plane to send souls in it to grow, not to die and be sent here."

Noah started tapping his forehead.

"So the plane needed a variable to break free from the paradox and, in a way, save its existence. It looked back prior to the monster's death and discovered the variable and the entire reason for the paradox in the first place."

"I was the variable, the one who sent the monster into the realm of souls (white plane) in the first place. So if it could bring me into the realm of souls and fused the monster souls with mine the paradox would be resolved, and the plane would get a new helper in time."

"But the plane had to work fast because I was on the verge of death, and it have no more monsters to bring me into the soul realm. So it had to bring me via an equal exchange. It would answer my wish but with a catch."

"I wanted power, and the plane obliged. For if he have a powerful helper it will means there will be more of the higher souls for him in the future."

"As for a new life. It technically gave me a new life, even if it was in the soul realm. It's still a new life nonetheless."

"As for freedom, I'm also free to do whatever I want in the soul realm, so again, technically it granted me that wish as well."

"So there I was, at death's door. It answered my wishes and successfully pulled me to the realm of souls. Yay, the paradox is no longer."

"So before it went to sleep and when it was shaping my body to be the perfect high souls killer, it made me into its core. Some will ask why the plane would do something as stupid as that, and the answer is, by making me into its core, there will be zero chance of me causing a paradox again. If I ever got killed like that last monster, it will have no problem bringing me into the realm of souls, reshaping me, and sending me on my way again."

"So now the white plane is dormant, and I have the entire realm of souls to myself."

Noah ended his monologue and covered his face with his open palm.

Noah's face developed a large sinister grin.

"The fool, that fucking idiot," Noah exclaimed while starting to laugh madly.

"Hahahaha! That thing made two mistakes."

"First, it gave me literally the most powerful race in the entire universe, and the fool left me in a realm brimming with life force and divine energy."

"Second, it didn't find out about the last monster's secret tablet and the four pillars he made before becoming a mindless servant of the WP. With these, I literally would be able to create anything. It's like having my own Shenron."

Noah stood up and with a wide grin on his face he say

"Fuck you White plane!! Imma steal your shit you son of bitch!" Noah yelled at the sky while giving it the middle finger.

"I also understand why my instincts wouldn't let me finish my transformations; it was warning me that if I didn't have the tablet and the four pillars, I wouldn't be able to take over this place and make it a part of me to escape."

"Now, the tablet says that once the connection between my soul and the four pillars is complete, I'll be able to cover the entire realm of souls, aka the plane itself, with my spirit and fuse with it through my core."

"All right, then, it's time for retaliation, you motherfucker," Noah said as he sat on the altar.

Noah sat down and shut his eyes and began to spread his ki/soul.

Noah's spirit spread and spread until it encircled the entire plane.

Then Noah began madly absorbing the entirety of the realm of souls. His core rapidly filled.

The more Noah absorbed the realm of souls, the faster it shrank, and the more the realm of souls vanished, revealing the void between realities.

The white plane was no longer there after Noah absorbed the entire realm of souls.

Noah's Great Ape form shrank over and over until it was the size of a humanoid Saiyan. Noah then stood up and let out a mighty roar. A blinding light was unleashed from within him, and when the aftermath of the light had stopped, a pitch-black cocoon could be seen, and vigorous heartbeats could be heard from within.

"Ba bump, ba bump, ba bump, ba bump, ba bump, ba bump, ba bump, ba bump."
