Carter and Blaine were standing in the meeting room together, watching a surveillance of the large tree smack dab in the middle of the cities.
Blaine said, "Welp. More people are surrounding the tree."
"Maybe it's our fault. We could've stopped this before."
"COULD'VE. Key word. I'm not blaming the Division though."
"Last time, we tried to take down the same tree far out in the canyons. We took it down but almost got overrun."
"And you guys ran off and cut off all communications with us."
"It is our fault then."
"Nope. I understand you guys were scared, you didn't expect that to happen that day. Chicken shits."
"Oi.."
"Relax. I'm here to make amends. We lost hella people in the guild, we need to work together again."
"Why exactly?"
"You got a few interesting people you're associated with. Before, I'm not gonna lie, I didn't see any hope with the Division last time."
