Chapter 11 - Manic Words of Ultramarine

The pressure squeezes on my lungs tight,

I knew this feeling was never right.

I was a fool I shouldn't have listened to you,

You said like me you were in a world of blue.

Into the blur I'm forever falling,

I know no one can hear me calling.

You told me that the world was shining,

But really all I could see was myself dying,

Dying from drowning,

Dying from losing,

Dying from the silence,

Dying from the words unspoken,

Dying from suffocating,

Suffocating as the blue wraps its finger around my throat,

Taking the colour from my lifeless body.

I don't scream,

I know I can't,

Even if I could,

I would just accept it all.

I hear you yelling,

I hear your call.

But was use is it.

If you lied, then why did you cry. Did you act it all out to truly convince me that you were seeing it too? But instead, you created this false narrative to draw me in and when I opened to show you my blue world you fled. You left me deserted in this wasteland of ultramarine.

Now the words leave my senses.

I scream all this nonsense,

But none shall hear as the blue takes me.
