Ashley tossed and turned as she slept, the nightmares she had not had in a really long time visited her again.
Ashley saw glimpses of a lot of things. She saw a woman running for her life in the woods. She was a blonde and she wore a ragged dress. The sound of people running filled the air and there were quite a number of the ones pursuing this woman.
The scene looked exactly like the one Ashley usually experienced, only that she wasn't the one being chased today and the people chasing the lady did not look like monsters even though Ashley could only see their side profiles.
Suddenly, the scene changed and Ashley found herself looking at that same lady, she recognized but she was lying down on the ground, looking.... lifeless? And there was someone standing in front of her.
The man was panting hard and when Ashley looked at his hands, she saw claws and blood dripping from them. A gasp escaped Ashley's lips as she moved backwards in horror.
