Her mind ran wild and images from her dream and the kiss of the night before came to her head. Ashley's gaze fell on his lips and she felt her heart beat quicken.
"You were so lost staring at it and didn't even notice my presence so I'm wondering if you want it." Damon explained.
"Huh? Oh." She quickly turned away from him.
"So do you want it?" She heard him ask again.
"What?" Ashley turned to him again. "No, I mean yes, I mean I..."
Gosh! She felt frustrated and she lowered her head. Why did he have to keep asking the question?
"It's okay." He smiled. "I can get it for you if you want."
Why? Ashley wondered.
Before she knew it, Damon was out of the car and went straight into the shop, talked to the man at the counter, gesturing at the display shoes at some point then she saw him walk out if the shop with a big paper bag.
Ashley was speechless as he entered the car again and handed her the bag.
