Ashley woke up the next morning very late. Golden rays of sunlight peeked through the curtains in her room. She had disabled her alarm so she won't be disturbed by it and that had helped her to sleep more.
She stood up and went to raise the curtains to let more light get into the room. Today, she was going to be home throughout and she would use the opportunity to rest very well.
She turned around and looked around the room. She wondered if Damon was back already.
Last night, after Damon had sent her to her room she couldn't help but feel troubled. She didn't know what happened to make Damon look and talk that way. And she also wondered where he and Sephirah went to.
After taking her bath and changing into her pajamas, she didn't feel at rest. Even if he told her to but she couldn't just stay there in her room without knowing what was going on. What if they were in danger and there was something she could do to help?
