Chapter 21 - Chapter twenty one

"You should be attending school." Feng Jie remarked, "I'm quite alright here."

"You're burning up, that's not a proper excuse. Your game has been thrown off." Khan spoke.

"Suffice your theories, is likely close as one can assume." Feng Jie spoke, "Despite it's neither what assumed nor or understood in the slightest."

"Then explain it some other day." Khan remarked, "Rest, and don't overwork yourself, I'll apply for a leave."

"Alright then." Feng Jie spoke, "As you wish."

Khan walked out of the room, "What does White tea desire?"

Bai Cha snorted, "Where's your little sidekick?"

"Sick." Khan remarked, "Someone dumped cold water upon him, yesterday. One of the Bark-Well children, likely the elder sister, those nasty brats, they are."

"If you're calling them nasty brats, then they must be horrible." Bai Cha spoke, "Why did they do it?"

"They think he's cursed." Khan explained, "His red eyes."

"Oh, don't the Bark-Well children have purple eyes?" Bai Cha inquired, "Why cursed though?"

"Purple eyes?" Khan remarked, "Only demon kin have purple eyes."

"Are you saying that the Bark-Well family have demon offspring hidden in plain sight but used contact lenses to cover the fact? That rather makes a rather silly theory indeed." Bai Cha spoke.

"We wouldn't know unless using bait," Khan remarked, "But for another time."

"Your highness, why are you talking with a mere bastard anyways?" A snide voice inquired.

"You smell like rotten pigeons cooked in sea slime spiced into the shoving of an elephants behind, I don't comment on such matters openly either way." Khan remarked.

Laughter stifled as people heard the comment, Bai Cha long gotten used to Khan's snide remarks and ever so no so undesirable comments as well.

"In any case, Dog spawn. Your elder sister dumped cold water all over my servants, as in accordance. I shall slap you." Khan explained, "A fair trade as well."

Khan walked over, took off his glove and slapped the younger Bark-well child across the face, "Vile him again, dog spawn…better to cross the river of sticks before anything worse happens upon you."

"He seems really pissed." Haru Yamada spoke, "One isn't able to tell easily but he cares about Feng Jie. Now it seems, a small war is going to break out sooner or later."

"I never understand you." Bai Cha remarked, "But it's suffice seeing such a person slapped with a glove of all things, rather then their hand—much more insulting."
