After this , there was a whole 10 minute awkward silence as no one continued the conversation. Both of us were only related due to our siblings and only met on family functions, so apart from those times we were just someone who knew each other.

After coming in front of the gates, there was a huge crowd consisting of students and adults around them. There were some faces that stood out from the rest, but one person who didn't had anything outstanding caught my eye.

The protagonist of my novel. From a first glance, he looked like a side character who wouldn't be noticed by anyone. He had an average face, black hair, black eyes and slightly skinny body. There was only one thing that made him special and that was his biggest secret.
He was a Regressor who came back from the future. 4 years to be exact when he was betrayed by his squad.

At exactly 9.50am I received an email from LAC and so did everyone whose name was present on the list. The gates which were closed until now opened suddenly.

" Where is your seat ?" I asked Hilda who was still reading the mail.
"East" . . . "Yours?"
"North"
"Then I'll go on ahead, lets meet on weekend to do the usual thing" She said while running through the gates."
I watched her back as she didn't even cared about my reply. I immediately realized the reason she came to meet me, it was to have a spar with me. This was the only thing we did whenever we met in the past. She was a battle junkie who only knew how to fight.

I opened the map attached to the mail and started heading towards the north wing with my full speed. After 2 minutes of constant running I arrived at the designated wing. There were a total of 15 seats of which 8 were already filled . I took a seat in the middle row. In front was a huge platform that was placed in center of all 4 wings.
At that moment two identical people entered the wing. They were namely Ren Link and Stella Link. Ren took the seat to my left side and Stella went to the front row.
First thing, they are twins. Their father Grey Link was the member of Hunter's Council which governs the Hunter's Alliance. When Ren was 1 year old, he was kidnapped and was left in a small city's orphanage. Only when he turned 13 he was returned to his family. But he was not welcomed by anyone in his family except his father and mother. Even his sister treated him like an outsider. He was always mocked in the high society for his days spend as an orphan. Even Ren hated his days in poverty. So he worked hard everyday like no tomorrow to make everyone acknowledge him and today was the result of his hard work as he was ranked first.
Ren was going to be star of his generation , but he was soon outclassed by the main character . This was one of the reason he turned to the evil .
Soon the 5 minute slot was over, and as I took a quick look at my wing it was already full.

As soon as his voice stopped , there was a wave of seriousness and determination in the students.
