Maddie had just said she would force Castelia to go with Lucas and ignore Joshua but she was a little curious about what Joshua had to offer other than threats to get Castelia to go with him. Maddie hesitantly asked, "Could Joshua offer something to get you to go out with him?"
Castelia gave her a frustrated look and replied, "He threatened to put us in jail if I refused and he paid me a thousand dollars if I went out with him."
A thousand dollars was too little for a few hours of partying but also too much because all Castelia do is stand by his side. "A thousand dollars can't even reduce one percent of our debt."
Castelia sighed, she wasn't thinking about money at all but how to go with Lucas and Joshua at the same time. "Cas, I have an idea," Maddie said, suddenly her eyes lit up and she stared hard at Castelia.
"Hmm?" muttered Castelia, curiosity present as well as an unpleasant premonition.
