Moments earlier, at eight o'clock in the evening. Maddie was in the room until she heard the bell ring. Maddie was sure it was Castelia who had come by ignoring the question of why she suddenly used the bell when the door was unlocked.
Maddie thought of nothing but maybe Castelia's hands were full. So she rushed downstairs to help her open the door but it opened just as Maddie touched the knob. The door opened violently and slammed her nose, causing her to take a few steps back and she was lucky not to fall.
Maddie was in shock, it took her a while to observe the situation until she was sure what was going on. Joshua came unexpectedly, clasped his hands together and walked upstairs without a word as if this place was his home.
"Castelia isn't home yet?" He asked after coming back down and finding no one upstairs. Maddie's mouth opened slightly, she didn't know what kind of comment to make.
