Bram's stiff back softened as he sighed in frustration. Bram wasn't ashamed of being caught loving someone but everything just wasn't right and wrong after finding out what happened.
Maddie noticed the expression on Bram's face had turned soft, she smiled widely and patted his arm roughly to encourage him. "Don't be sad, you are too good for Castelia. So don't mind him, you'll get a better girl than him, you know that." At least that was what Maddie hoped for, wishing Bram to forget Castelia soon.
However, not because Castelia was too bad for Bram but because Bram wouldn't stand a chance if Castelia were with Joshua. Maddie didn't want Bram to waste time and get hurt.
"Castelia isn't that bad," squeaked Bram, not liking to hear someone badmouthing Castelia even though it was Maddie. His reaction made Maddie glare in annoyance and slap his arm once more.
