Maddie snorted, coming over to embrace Castelia and lead her upstairs. "You'd better rest and pretend you're sick so you can skip tomorrow." Maddie was looking forward to it, she wanted to ensure Castelia was okay for at least one day.
Castella chuckled. She didn't respond but obviously, the answer was no.
"Because she is a girl!" said Melody firmly. Maybe Melody was jealous but she was more worried about her fate if Castelia opened her mouth and said what she had done to frame Joshua. "I don't like the thought of a woman in the same room as you."
Joshua certainly didn't believe Melody's reasoning, but there was no intention of arguing. He smiled and walked away, leaving his wife. Melody would have gotten into an argument if her heart hadn't pounded so fast as if it was going to explode.
