It's Castella. It was certain that Castelia had secretly recorded the meeting between her and Melita to operate as evidence that Joshua could use to defend himself. Castelia wouldn't say she did it for Maddie. No, all that she did for Joshua.
However, that didn't mean Castelia had abandoned her friend. Castelia trades the evidence for Joshua's reply that he must act like Maddie has nothing to do with Melita. Castelia left the evidence and the letter on Joshua's doorstep and they arrived good in his hands.
All Castelia hoped was that Joshua was okay, and so was Maddie. Even though Maddie failed at the task, at least she was doing well. That was all Castelia wished for but now, Castelia's head was throbbing painfully, asking what she should do.
On the other side, Joshua was sitting pensively behind the table. There was no one in the office, all that could be heard was the clock ticking that never stopped. Joshua recalled what had happened recently.
