Castelia walked languidly, pushed open the front door and closed it with her back. She leaned against it, pensive long enough for her to notice Maddie was still sitting on the sofa and staring at her for some time.
Castelia had a sad expression on her face and wasn't in a good mood, so Maddie didn't ask and just stared at her until she snapped out of her daydream. "Since when were you there, Madd?" asked Castelia, her voice small and weak even though she tried to hide it.
Castelia was trying to act well so Maddie wouldn't ask a thousand questions, but she just couldn't. "I was here from the time you left until you came back," Maddie replied. Castelia was gone for two hours, for whatever reason, but Maddie sat in front of the TV watching the whole time.
Previously Castelia looked in a hurry but now all her strength seemed to be sucked out. "You are okay?" Maddie's turn asked.
