It's five o'clock. After buying some groceries this morning, Castelia got busy decorating the dining room with Maddie. "You don't think this is too much?" asked Castelia doubtfully. Castelia only invited Lucas for dinner; even Maddie was welcome to join if she wanted.
However, Maddie instead decorated the dinner table with some fabrics, flowers and candles and made it look like they were going to spend time having a romantic dinner. Just the two of them and no one else. Castelia felt embarrassed, wondering what Lucas' reaction would be if he saw all this.
"This isn't an exaggeration at all!" Maddie insisted. "We must make it as beautiful as possible so that even Lucas is surprised." Even so, Maddie said, Castelia didn't think it was a good idea. Castelia couldn't refuse because Maddie was too stubborn.
