"My lord, this Vex should be arriving soon." Said Ragnor
Luther was now on top of the mansion looking at the clouds, "get the others ready, we're leaving."
"My lord, I thought they would be staying here?"
"Change of plans." Said Luther as he blew a small cloud out of his mouth.
~1 hour early~
"You're being cold right now." Said Luther as he walked behind Bliz and Luna.
Ever since Luther talked to Luna about getting along with Bliz, they have been acting like buddies. Having conversations by themselves and oddly try their best to avoid him sometimes. "I hate this," Luther wasn't bothered by the fact they were talking to themselves but making his job harder. "How can I do this? They seem like they know I'm trying to toy with them at least Bliz might know." Said Luther whose attention landed on Ragnor who was watching over him like a hawk.
"I need your help with these two," Luther said to Ragnor who just look at him in confusion. Being a lesser dragon knight Ragnor couldn't understand why Luther let Luna live. It's almost a disgrace to a dragon for a lower race to kill them, he couldn't think of the destruction the dragon's gods would reckon on this lower world if they heard about Dragon cloning.
"My lord, I have no words."
"I know, I know." Said Luther as he stop Ragnor in place, " I need you to do something."
"Anything my lord." Said Ragnor as he kneel.
"When I leave I need you to break any confidence Luna would have." Said Luther as he gaze at The pair of dragons.
"My lord, are you sure?"
"I'm not done. Try to piss off Bliz as much as you can, I need her on edge. She the biggest liability right now, if I can get both of them in a state of mental confusion my plan could work quicker than I could even guess." Said Luther as he tap Ragnor on the shoulder.
Ragnor looks at the ground in frustration even though he was given a direct order by his lord he couldn't complete it. In the same way, Bliz was given a mission by the supreme so was he. "Yes, my lord." Said Ragnor, Luther just nodded his head and left the three in the room.
As the door close behind Luther the smile on his face frowned, looking down as his palm purple blood dripped from Luther's hand, He had to stop himself from killing Ragnor. In the middle of the conversation, Luther's head began to throb, and the pain would only worsened over time. He didn't know what cost it but he did know when it started, it was when he told Ragnor to mess with Bliz, and it was easy to narrow it down.
"That bastard lied…" Luther muttered to himself, it seem like manipulating people is going to be harder than he thought.
"It will be a problem if Ragnor tells Bliz anything, Should I kill him? No, this was his first mistake, and mistakes are bound to happen. I can't kill an important piece this quick, but I can't just let this go unpunished…" Deep in thought, Luther found himself outside, small raindrops fell from the sky as it became cloudy.
"I'm too dependent on outside sources, when I heard that voice back in my head I was almost overjoyed by the thought of getting the system back." Said Luther as he jump up, clouds gather around him as he took off to the sky.
"He looks pissed." Said Luna as she looked out the window, this was Luther's first time not telling her where he was going and she was starting to feel fear.
"It's nothing, I bet you he's just throwing a tantrum that we weren't paying attention to him." Said Bliz as she pull Luna to the garden.
Ragnor was in the room silent and overwhelmed with fear, he knew not following his lord's orders will come with consequences but he didn't know how much he could take.
"Please anything but death," Ragnor muttered to himself as he ran out of the room.
Luther was hovering over the mansion Looking down at it, "so small and pathetic…"
Luna and Bliz were wandering around the garden aimlessly, unknown to the pair two purple eyes were completely focused on them.
"Do you like living with these humans?" Bliz asked Luna
"I have to this is the only life I experience." Said Luna as she gaze into the distance.
"Only life? I thought you had the memory of the main body."
"It's not like you think, the memories play like a movie. I can only watch the events, I don't understand the emotion or complexity of them."
"Movies?"
"It's a human thing."
"A human thing? Can I eat it?"
"Huh? No why would you eat, nevermind."
"No, I was just curious about this movie thing."
"Let me rephrase it, it's like watching something else move your body."
"That has to be a hard way to live, do you talk to him about it?"
"No, sometimes I wonder does he truly care."
"You don't have to beat yourself up about that, if you want to speak about it come to me. I lived in the dragon realm, so I might be able to help you more than he can." Said Bliz as she stretched her arm out for a hug.
Luna hesitated for a second but caved into the emotion and embraced Bliz. Both of them fell silent as they hugged each other.
"It seems like she has the upper hand." Said Luther as he pull his head back into the clouds. "Talking to her about her trauma, No talking itself. I never talked or even tried to communicate with anyone other than Jonn."
Luther went into thought again as he reevaluated his choices, just thinking about the trouble and the waste of soldiers he killed just out of habit. That Sunny and Rainnie situation could've been avoided, just used one of the twins as a hostage and mentally mold the other one into the perfect soldier. Even if the Light situation could be avoided he could've seen how Megallan would react when his student found him, would he kill Light and Void or would something different happen?
Seeing how easily Bliz planted her place in Luna's life was the final nail in the coffin, no more idiotic and sporadic monster. Luther had to become something more, and his first step toward that is the Farland family. If they do dabble in human politics maybe he could learn a thing or two from them.
