A huge boom echoes through the room causing the once-sleeping Luther to jump up. His body was tense as he scrambled out of bed. As he look around in confusion his mind began to race. "How?! It was so real.." said Luther as he sniffed the air. The horror he felt was familiar or should I even say horror, most likely he was feeling hatred. The hated being weak, ever since he met Megallan he felt weak like a human. Anger clouded Luther's mind as he began punching down on the ground. Each hit worsened as he put more power behind it. "He kept calling me a human." After a long silence, Luther stretched.
"I'm done.." said Luther as his dragon aura began to leak from his body, the floor under him began to crack as blood dripped from his hands. It's like a chain that was around his heart began to break as his cold and wicked glared return.
After waiting a minute, surprisingly nothing happened. Luther's head began throbbing as questions filled his mind. "Luna here, so that has to be a dream. Who was that green man and what did he want with her?" Luther began pondering to himself as he walked out of the room. The once-sleeping Luna looked at Luther fading figure leaving the room, she rolled her eyes and went back to sleep.
The hall was quieter than usual, each step Luther took almost echo through the hall. As Luther reaches a corner a maid jump up in fright. Her body shuddered as Luther pushed her out of the way. The maid's body fell onto the ground with no resistance. "My display of power must've frightened her," Luther said as he began to smile. Seeing their odd reaction to Luther the maid fell to her knees begging him not to kill her.
"Please! I...I didn't mean to!" Cried the Maid as her tears began to wash away her makeup.
Usually, Luther would just look the other way or used the excuse of not wanting more maids to not punish this woman but something was different. Luther licked his lips as his hand graze the women's shoulder. "What's your name?" Asked Luther. Luther's eyes began to glow purple as lightning struck outside lighting up the hallway.
The maid's fear came to pass, no hope can be seen on her face as she stared at this wicked beast. "Shara... My name is Shara." Stutter the maid. Luther let out a wicked laugh as he pats the maid on the head, causing the maid's heart to skip a beat.
"Shara, did you know I once trusted a maid just like you? Now that I think about it I bump into her just like this." Said Luther as he growl. "Do you know what she did?"
"I heard stories but…but I don't know the truth." Said Shara
"Hmm, you don't need to know the whole situation, just know that I was betrayed." Said Luther as lift up the maid's chin. Tears fell from the maid's eyes as she locked eye contact with Luther. "I hate betrayal.." said Luther as he push the maid against the glass window leading toward the main courtyard. "Why are you here?"
"Wha…what?" Complete stump by this question the maid fumbled the words coming out of her mouth.
"ANSWER ME!" Yelled Luther as slammed her against the window. The window cracked as the maid began to have a mental breakdown.
"It's my job! I didn't come here with any other intention!" Cried out the maid, snot began to leak from her nose as stared at Luther. Luther was grinning ear to ear at the sight of this pathetic woman.
"How many times did these humans do this to me?! I a dragon subdued it like I was a filthy animal." Luther thought to himself. He began to seethe as he was reminded how he acted just to survive. A small sigh came from behind Luther, as someone put their hands on Luther's shoulder.
"I was wondering when are you going to reveal yourself." Said Luther as his grip tightened on the maid.
"Just let her go and come back to bed." Said Luna as he put her hand through her hair.
"Remove your hand." Coldly said, Luther.
"Leave her alone Luther, I don't know what's gotten into you but you never acted like this. Every since Megallan…"
"That's right ever since Megallan got kidnapped, my mind became clear. I wonder what happen to Toby and his wife and why was it Megallan who came to my mountain when I awoke?" Luther said as his face darkened the more he thought about it.
"I don't know and I don't care. All I need you to do is let her go." Said Luna as she slowly walked closer to the maid.
"Why?…" Luther became silent as a thought entered his mind. Anger clouded his judgment, it would be stupid for him to go scorch earth this soon, but that doesn't mean he should take this sitting down. "Ok, I get it."
"Great!.." before Luna could finish her sentence Luther toss the maid out the window. "Huh?!" Screamed out Luna as she tried to jump after her but Luther caught her arm. Three lightning strikes struck the maid as he body slammed against the ground. "Why?…why!? WHY?!!" Yelled out Luna as she punched Luther's chest.
Luther let out a small laugh as he jumps out of the window.
"Where are you going!" Yelled out Luna
"Tell the servants to fix the window before I get back." Said Luther as clouds gather around his body. His figure grew as he took off to the sky in his dragon form.
"Fuck!" Screamed Luna as he kicked a piece of glass out of the house. "Who's going to do my hair now." She said as her attention turned to the maid on the ground.
"I need to go there, I need answers." Said Luther as he soar through the sky. Everything happens for a reason and he needs to know why his mind is so stuck on laying low or being nice. How did Megallan find him and why did his personality change so much?
A/N: After this small arc, I'm going to do a Farland family arc than the Academy arc. I expected some plot lines I had been hiding or building up too shine when I write his academy story.)
