"Sir the test subject is ready." Said a scientist as he spin around in his chair.
"I want you to run one more test jack we can have this one fail, we don't have any more biomaterial." Said a blue-haired man as he stared at a high test tube. A young white skin Luna at least 5 years old was floating in the tube as needles enter and exit her body.
"This thing is the next step of human evolution, if we can't replicate what those monsters do, we will fall from the food chain." Said the blue-haired man as he picked up a folder.
"Leader Jet, are you sure the other won't come after it?" Asked Jack as he press a button that causes the liquid in the test tube to turn black. Young luna's flesh began to shed as black scales appeared on her stomach.
"It's not a problem, when the captain killed it, he told us that it was sent here for protection. What type of parent would risk child protection on a hunch." Said Jet.
Jet clap his hand causing two doors to swing open, a pair of solid grey human-looking creatures walked up to Jet holding a tube of blue liquid.
"When the water starts boiling, I need you to dump that liquid into those containers." Said Jet as he pointed to an open hole big enough to fit two kids.
"Are you sure about this boss?" Asked jack as he reach her an orb.
"Yes, let's see how a 10-billion-dollar project can work." Said Jet as he put the orb to his eye. "FUCK! HURRY UP AND STOP IT! The dragonic cycle is overheating! FUCK!" Jet burst out at full speed and ran back to his computer. "System stable, vital is normal, why is it overheating?" Jet asked himself as he slammed his fist on the table.
"Sir, it happening again!" Yelled Jack. The body in the tube began to lose form as the liquid began to dissipate.
"FUCK! FUCK! FUCK!" Jet began to run internal diagnostics on the body as jack began to inject more mysterious black blood into the body.
The two grey human jump into the hole as jack opens and stop spinning the tube. As the two grey humans climbed threw a wave of heat washed over their bodies causing them to melt.
"Take them out!" Yelled Jet.
"I can't! It's like the heat has a mind of its own, I'm being forced back." Yelled Jack.
Jet and Jack began to panic as years of their time and effort were going down the drain. This isn't the first time it happen not even the tenth. They had been using biomaterial that their Leader had given them one day after he wen investigate a fog problem. If they knew that it would cause this much trouble they would've never accepted this job.
The two grey humans' body was melted to the bone as their skin began to crawl toward the tube.
"JET LOOK!" Yelled Jack as he pointed to the skin on the ground.
"What?" Stunned Jet began to do calculations, "Every time we do this somehow the body turns into smoke or fog and dissipates forever." Jet said to himself, Jet reach his hand out stopping his partner from reaching the skin. "Let it happen,"
"WHAT! If we don't stop this and we lose the biomaterial, you can forget about going back home. FUCK I CAN FORGET ABOUT LEAVING THIS PLACE ALIVE!" Yelled out, Jack. Jet gave him a slap waking him up from his delusion.
"This is the first time this hand happens in years, why don't we see what happens, the worse thing is we lose lives. Either way, we might not make it out of here alive." Said Jet as he look at Jack with confidence.
"Okay, but if it works, you owe me 1 thousand dollars." Said Jack.
"Deal." Said Jet, as Jack and Jet shook hands the flesh jump on the tube cracking the glass. The young white skin Luna fell out of the tube and landed in the flesh. As his arm and legless body fell on the flesh her lifeless eyes landed on Jet who was taking notes. The living grey flesh began to peel he scaled them one by one as it latches onto her body. Her lifeless eyes began to turn black as the flesh open her mouth. Flesh began to enter her nose and mouth causing her body to unconsciously twist. As the flesh cover her whole body the black liquid began to leak from her eyes. As the liquid landed on the ground it instantly turned into fog. The fog began to gather above the body and hardened. As the flesh around the body hardened, the inside began melting.
"It's a cocoon." Said Jack.
"No, it's an egg, my friend." Said Jet as his eyes widened open. "Record this!" Yelled Jet.
The egg was hovering in the air as fog leaked from the bottom.
"I started the day recording sir!"
"Good, make sure you don't miss a single scene."
The egg began to crack as the fog stopped leaking. More cracks began to show up as the egg fell to the ground. A grey hand punched its way out of the egg, and a yellow liquid cover its body.
The thing began to eat its egg like a starving beast. The hollow eyes were filled with life as they began to sniff the air. It turned its eyes toward Jack and Jet who had their mouth wide open.
A roar came from the beast as it launch at Jet. A white barrier appeared in front of Jet knocking the beast back.
The beast stomp and look at the barrier as it gazes at its reflection.
"Who am I ?" Asked The beast as it sat down in front of Jet.
"My daughter Luna." Said jet as he took down the barriers and Hugged the beast.
"I'm Luna... Luna, Luna. Okay, I will remember that."
