Luther woke up as the same time as Luna, to both of their surprise.
"I thought about what you said about the slayer's but one thing didn't make sense why don't they just attack and kill us if they here." Asked Luther
"That's a flaw but I can't think of another reason why. Too many things happening at one time." Said Luna as she sigh.
"I think we are looking at this wrong, what if everything wrong is happening but it isn't caused by one faction." Said Luther.
"That might be the cast but if that is happing, what do you think we should do?" Asked luna.
"Focused on one thing at a time, I feel like we should address the snake in the room." Luther eyes flashed as luna retorted.
"Megallan." Both of them fell silent as the atmosphere of the room got thick.
Luther began to sniff the room as someone tip toed pass their hotel door. The smell was unfamiliar so Luther turned his attention back towards Luna. Luther kept his guard up, he need want anyone to hear what he will discuss with Luna.
"I lost the ability to change into a thunder cloud." Said Luther he tense up his fist. Clouds began to leak out of his mouth, eyes and nose until he force them to stop.
"It's must be the effect of your young-kin stage, I had the same problem too. I used to have the ability to only move the fog around me but now my body can change into fog, even shape it to a weapon of choice." Said Luna.
"Interesting… are they any more changes I need to know about." Asked Luther.
"None I could think of but.." Luna was push on the bed as Luther cover her mouth.
"Shh." Said Luther as he pointed at the door. Luna began to sniff the air as a familiar scent enter her nose. Luna eyes narrowed as she smelled something she never encountered before. Filthy was the one word that came to mind when that scent flew into her nose.
"Tsk." Said the man as he left from Luther door.
"He's gone." Said Luther as he walked towards the door. Luther quickly open the door and peak. As luther look left and right, Luna tap his shoulder and slammed the door as he stuck his head back in.
"Something wrong." Said Luna as she tapped her nose. "The man had the scent of Megallan but something was off.."
"I know at first I was thinking he might've betrayed me but now I think something worse has happen, Luther and luna fell silent at time past by.
~3 hours later~
Luther walked to the built on kitchen of the hotel, to his surprise the man who he thought was Megallan was taking and trying to seduce one of the demon women. A green demon walked behind him and put his hand on Megallan shoulder but took it off as Megallan gave him a death glare. Luther decided to walked to the table but Megallan quickly turned his head and greeted him.
"You're up finally." Said Megallan as he peek behind Luther. "She's not here?"
"She decided to stay behind today, I tired her out last night." Said Luther as a smug smiled appeared on his face. He grinn grew as Megallan gave him a nudge.
"Like father, like son." Said Megallan as sush the demon women away from his table. She left with a regretful smiled but blew a kiss to Megallan, who caught the kiss in the air and press towards his heart.
"Your still doing that old tactic." Said Luther as he flop down on a chair. Both of them began laughing as a waiter walked towards the table.
"Look at this, I will be a litch cousin. Two humans at one table." Said a five eyed demon with black skin. "What can I get you." Said the demon as he looked at Luther
"Just water." Said Luther as he pointed at Megallan. Megallan shaked his head as his attention looked on to the waiter.
"Nothing, I already ate already." Said Megallan.
The waiter nodded and left the duo. Luther looked at Megallan who started to look at the device on his wrist.
"Let me take a look at that?" Said Luther as he been over the table and grabbed Megallan arm. Megallan face flashed red as he swiped away Luther arm.
"DON'T TOUCH." Said Megallan with a cold tone. Luther had to stop himself from laughing at the mockery this man made of acting. Luther took a deep breathe and Lean back in his chair. "I gave you some leeway because your mother die not so long ago but after that stunt you pulled at castle love, I won't stand for it."
Luther looked at the man with resolve face, what he just said blew up Luther theory about Megallan betraying him. "Didn't he do any research on me or Megallan?" Luther asked himself. "I'm sorry, you was just looking at that like it was broken." Said Luther.
"It's not but thank you." Said Megallan as he put his hands under the table. "I didn't think he was paying that much attention to me." The fake Megallan said to himself. His heart was beating rapidly as he realized he almost blew his cover.
"It's like the first deal we made." Said Luther as he reach out his hand. The fake Megallan stared at his hand for a second but decided it the beast just to shake his hand.
As the two had a handshake Luther tightened his grip causing the fake Megallan to pull his hand back.
"If it any broke don't fix it." Said Luther as he stared at The fake Megallan. "You don't remember?"
"Wait.. it's the first deal we made." Said the fake Megallan.
"I'm glad you remember." Luther stood up from the table and walked back toward his room. "That confirmed it." Said Luther.
"Where are you going, you didn't even drank your water." Said the fake Megallan.
"I'm going back to Luna." Said Luther as he turned his head to the fake Megallan. Luther wank at him causing the fake Megallan to bust out with laughter. As luther turned his head his expression got cold.
