"I left you 500 dollars. Don't spend it all." Said megallan as he hung up the phone. He's been calling me all day, is Luna that important? I left my room and enter the kitchen. Luna was sitting at the table talking to the maids.
"Ahh, young master." Said one of the maids causing the rest to turn their heads. I nodded my head slightly and when picked up my coffee. Coffee has been my favorite drink ever since I came here.
"Young master, I need to take a week off, my mother is sick and I'm the only one that can take care of her." Said one of the maids as she bowed down.
"Find someone to take up your shift and you can." I said as I looked down at her. She waited until megallan left to ask me if humans truly are pathetic. "Rover prepared a car I'm going to explore the city today."
The butler appear out of nowhere and bowed his head. "Young master, the car is already parked outside and is ready for you." Said rover as he reach for my cup.
"Thank you." I said as I looked over to Luna. "Are you coming too." I asked her
"Yes, I might as well." She said as she jump down from the table. "Which part of the city are we going to?" Luna asked me.
"What do you mean?" I said as I tilted my head.
"You don't know." She said as her face brightened up. "Hurry let's leave." Luna said as she dragged me by the arm.
"Ok." I said.
As we left the house rover was waiting outside by the car. It was stunning, the blue tint on the window made the white wheels stand out. I walked over to the car and rubbed my hand over it.
"Young master, master megallan told me to tell you to stay away from upper land 1." Said rover as he open the door to the backseat.
"Why and what's the upper land?" I asked as I hopped in the car, Luna followed me.
"He said the people who would be looking for miss Luna would be there."
"The W.T.P!" Yelled out Luna as she released some of her aura.
"What the W.T.P?" It didn't matter how many times I asked her she never answer. "Nevermind. Rover brings me to the residential area. I want to see how they live."
"Ok, young master." Said Rover as he drove away from the house. I looked out the window and stared at the forest. This is where I killed Frank's family, as I looked out the window I ponder if I had gotten too soft. Enough is enough, nobody will deny what I want. I steeled my resolution as we drove to the city.
~1 hour later~
"The entrance to starlight city is coming up don't try to piss off these guards young master." Said rover as he turned around and face me.
"Don't tell me what to do again." I said as I looked at rover.
"I'm sorry young master." Said rover as he fixes his position.
"Why are you being a dick to him all of the sudden." Asked Luna.
I looked at her and sneered. "What?"
"Huh." She said as she looked at me in confusion.
"I let you be disrespectful to me for the last time." I said as I turned my head towards the window.
"What's wrong with you all of the sudden." Luna said as she puts her hand on my shoulder. I faced her and transformed my hand into my dragon claw. I stuck one of my claws on her head causing her to jump back. "Why are you doing this? Didn't we..didn't we!" She tried to say something but tears fell from her eyes.
Not this time. I will not fall for that again. "We did what exactly?" The word's that came out of my mouth cause her to look at me in shock. "When I bit your hand I didn't know what I was doing." I got closer and put one of my other claws on her neck. "I haven't even known you for two days. Do you think I'm going to trust you?"
Luna activated her dragon aura causing the rover to pass out. She'd transformed her hand into a dragon claw surprising me. Luna reach for my neck but I didn't move. "Don't threaten me again."
"Or what?" I asked her as I released my aura causing her's to get suppressed.
"Do you want to find out?" She said as her eyes began to leak fog. Before anything else happen my phone rang. I transformed my hand back into a human hand and answer it.
"Hello. This is Luther who is it?" I asked
"This is Jesse, Luther I heard you wanted to get in contact with me?" Said Jesse
"Yes, a problem appeared out of nowhere and I think you can help me with a few questions." I said as I turned away from Luna. Luna took her hand away from my neck but she didn't undo her transformation.
"Ok tell me what happens." Said Jesse
"I met this dragon-like girl and on instinct, I bit her hand and she bit mines." Luna let off a sneer as she heard me describe her as a dragon girl.
"Are you for REAL!!" Yelled out, Jesse.
"Yes, I am, and stop yelling." I said as I put the phone on speaker.
"Hahahahha! No way you, already?" Laugh Jesse. Her laughter was loud enough to get the attention of Luna who was looking out the window with a sad face.
"I did what! Stop playing around and tell me." I yelled.
"You found your mate!" Laugh Jesse. "I have to tell megallan." She hung up the phone leaving me speechless. I looked over to Luna who quickly turned her head when I tried to look at her.
"My mate. I barely know her!" I yelled out. That's why she jumped on me when she got out of the cage. I thought she was just happy. "Am I that dense?" I asked myself.
As if Luna read my mind she responded "yes you are."
I looked at her in pure shock. "That's why you slept in my bed." I slapped my head, this revelation doesn't change anything. The only thing that it does is that it lets me know I need to be more aware of my surroundings.
"How did I even get a mate like you." Luna said as she transformed her hand back.
