When Camilla fell on me, I was beyond happy. However, during that time, I was blushing like crazy. Camilla didn't seem to notice because she got up quite quickly. And I was instantly disappointed when she immediately got up. Who would know that she would trip over the hem of her cloak and fall onto me again? And besides, she kept on falling near there. It was pretty sensitive already. And now she fell there again. My face blushed harder and redder. She used one hand to drag herself up and the other hand she placed on my inner thigh and helped herself up. I took glanced at her cheek and noticed that she was as embarrassed as myself.
I noticed that Camilla had used the cloak's hood to cover her hair and she jumped off the carriage. It seems that Camilla wasn't that weak since she could jump off the carriage, yet she still needed somebody to help her up. How interesting. I wonder what sort of life you lived before. Camilla, you don't need to worry when we get back to the capital, I will visit you. Damian and I looked at each other and we hurriedly jumped off and followed Camilla. As I got nearer to Camilla, I noticed her arguing with the general. I recognised him. It was General Reflood. He was in charge of the safety of the civilians in Amari city which was south of the capital. The capital and the south were separated by this mountain. Oh right. I don't think he recognised me. Hopefully, he didn't I don't need everyone to know I'm missing because I know for sure my parents wouldn't have told anyone. They only care about my younger brother, why would they care about me? Just to be safe I stood behind Damian and gently placed my attention on Camilla.
I watched her tell the General off and for a second there I could feel that she meant every word. During her speech I finally caught a glimpse of her life, I finally realised that my little problems in life were nothing compared to hers. At least I had a warm bed, and I was well-fed. I just lacked my parent's love. That was nothing compared to Camilla's struggles. If one day in the future she is willing to tell me, I would like to hear about her life story. When Camilla finished her speech, I looked at her in marvel and walked behind her. I saw a black man dressed as an assassin ran towards Camilla with a danger pointing at her. I quickly shouted, "Camilla watch out!" and it alerted everyone's attention. At this point, I was already running up towards Camilla to try and protect her. However, a blue light shone out and I had to block my eyes so nothing would happen to them. When I opened my eyes again, I noticed that Camilla was floating in the sky with a clear transparent liquid surrounding her. "Camilla," I shouted however she didn't answer me. I looked around and noticed that the grand duke and Damian had run up beside me. Along with me, we all tried to bring Camilla down however it couldn't work. We couldn't even touch her.
The grand duke saw that we couldn't do anything to bring Camilla down, so he turned to look at the butler. When the blue resided the grand duke immediately ordered his men to capture the assassin. However, the man bit his tongue and committed suicide. The butler shook his head and the grand duke signed. The assassin was dead which means there was no lead on who wanted to kill Camilla. She had been assassinated once at the inn before and now again. What exactly is happening?
The general walked up towards the grand duke and asked, "Who exactly is that lady? Why are you all so worried about her? You even let her do what she wants,". At that moment a strong wind blew by, and Camilla's cloak's hood flew off. It revealed the hair that Camilla was trying to hide. The general gasped when he saw her hair. He looked at the grand duke and muttered, "The lost princess?". The Grand Duke nodded, looked around and announced "Whatever you see or hear now, everything will be forgotten after we enter the capital. Or else you might not be able to keep your head. Understand?" Everyone around him looked terrified and nodded. Even I was a little terrified when I heard this. At this moment, the liquid surrounding Camilla had dissolved. I noticed this and immediately shouted, "The liquid is gone,". Everyone's attention turned towards me, and I continued to glance at Camilla. She was slowly getting down. I couldn't catch her because there was a force stopping me from getting to her. When Camilla landed on the ground, I noticed that she had opened her eyes and I looked at her in concern and asked, "Are you ok?". However, she probably didn't hear me and asked, "What happened?"
