Amy didn't know where the name came from but as she looked at the two people seating next to her, she felt that way. She felt the pull of a real family, a family she had never gotten. She inhaled as Jeff and the kid ate the Mexican takeout they had ordered for lunch.
Holding her knees closer to her chest, she stared at the water ahead, looked at the waves that crashed, and for a while she got lost in her world, wondering how nature was so peaceful despite everything and she was still lost in her world when she felt a warm hand slip into hers. "Amy." She looked up and saw Jeff and Jay looking at her concerned.
For the first time, she noticed how cute they both were and laughed at her craziness. "You almost look alike, are you sure you didn't have a son somewhere before." And she laughed more when she saw the look in Jeff's eyes as she opened her arms for Jeff to hug her. The kid was a hugger.
