"What are you doing?" Mother asked.
I thought she was talking to me until I saw that she was glaring at Verdam.
The Off-Worlder seemed to be caught off guard by the question as he was a little late in responding, "What… What do you mean?"
"She just tried to kiss her," Mother stated as a matter of factly.
"Err… Yes? I mean… I saw that… Why? What's wrong with that?"
Oh no…
I peeled myself away from Mother to face him, "You… Don't know, do you?"
He looked at me, then his gaze drifted downwards.
Oh right, I was still naked… Give me a moment.
I went ahead to dress myself again before facing Verdam, who had intentionally looked away while I was changing to give me some privacy.
"I'm done now," I told him, prompting him to turn back around to face me. "Anyway, as I was saying, you don't know huh?"
"I don't know what? What is it that I don't know?"
