A heart which is broken usually takes time to heal, especially one which yearned for something and failed to get it. Aprophil was made to believe that the throne was his and it would be easy to get it just because he was the first true born of King Luca Arteides. However, things took a drastic turn when it proved to be harder than he thought, and especially when Lord Balrus showed up and called him, "weak".
The last time Aprophil was called weak was when he started training in Horona, the small town where he lived with his mother, it was inside the city of Mines. While some people believed they lived as slaves in the Mines, King Luca Arteides built for them a castle in Horona, with servants and guards. Aprophil used to train with his father's guards, and before he mastered his art of swordsmanship, he was usually called weak by his fellow teens.
