Rustle! Rustle!
The grass and the leaves of the trees danced to the tone of the night breeze.
The greenery of the forest now had a tone of dark and red to it as the red moon shone its light on the forest. Like the sun, the moon served as the night supplement that supported the growing ecosystem of this forest.
The dancing grass and leaves of the giant trees were just one part of the forest, the more passive side. The more active side of the forest was dangerous.
A group of ants moved through the bare forest floor, taking advantage of their small size and the moon as camouflage to blend into the night without being seen. They remained successful for the most part as they searched for food.
A few minutes later, they were marching back to their hideout with particles of food and grass on their mandibles.
While they marched, a pair of eyes watched them from the dark.
