The atmospheric veils were due to gaseous exchange and reactions from a giant asteroid that orbited the planet.
At this moment, the atmosphere of the planet was peaceful until it arrived.

A Frigate descended out of warp travel as it directly jumped into the atmosphere of this planet, immediately attracting the attention of the planetary guards as a lot of their sensors focused on it.
The scrutiny stopped just a few seconds later though.
This Frigate got unrestricted access into the Planet as it accelerated rapidly in a certain direction. While this happened, a certain group of warriors were already alarmed as they reacted to the arrival of the Battleship.
