After more than 2 months since he last visited here, Legolas visited the Steep Hills again where Akela ruled as the overlord Alpha Wolf.
Unlike more than 6 months ago when Conan was still the Alpha Wolf, Akela already effected a lot of changes in the beast plane. Under his leadership, the Steep Hills entered a new era of prosperity.
Of course, there was still cannibalism since they were carnivorous wild animals but unlike Conan, he did not rule like a tyrant.
Akela's laws and leadership kept the Steep Hills stable.
At least, for the Wolves, they welcomed a new era of prosperity
The more Akela remained the overlord, the more Legolas recognized how much of a talent this wolf had for leadership. He may not be the brightest or strongest of the bunch, but he was definitely the best leader.
Akela was already expanding his pack even as time went on.
