Once in the morning, sun shining, there came news from guardians of palace talking that every family should prepare their daughters for the ceremony taking the one to become the wife of the prince. They would be trained for seven days and the following day the ceremony would take place, and they would name a perfect person to become the future princess.
Of course all the girls were so excited and Lucia was also excited like them. The camp would be held also by daughters of great people and counselors of the king in that kingdom. But during those days the twins' mother Belthine got sick, she caught a disease which needed her to get full care and attentions from people around her. Lucy was lately informed that she had to prepare for the camp of all village girls.
So the day arrived Lucy and Lucia got in the camp and other girls. Lucy saw all other girls of great people in the kingdom and ministers, but she wasn't fully interested in becoming a future princess of their kingdom because she needed to take care of their mother. They were supervised for seven days, especially what concerned their attitudes, they were trained for different works including household works.
Lucy was doing great that time but she was at the same time worried for her mother, her mother was left with their cousin brother who helped them to take care of them.
